How to Create a Recognisable Personal Brand
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how the most unforgettable brands make us feel something — even before we remember what they sell. Whether it’s the comfort of a familiar voice, the confidence of a signature colour palette, or the way a message just clicks, that kind of recognition isn’t accidental.
It’s personal. It’s intentional. And it’s powerful.
Because in a world full of noise, the brands that rise above aren’t the loudest — they’re the most recognisable. They know exactly who they are and how to show up in a way that people remember (and trust).
Let’s talk about how you can build that kind of brand — the kind people feel connected to before they even realise why.
1. Be consistent with your feed colours and aesthetics
Your visual vibe instantly tells your audience who you are. Stick with 2-3 core colours that reflect your brand’s tone. Are you warm and approachable or clean and minimalist? Let your colours do the talking.
2. Add your logo — everywhere
Think of your logo as your digital signature. Keep it subtle but present — on posts, videos, PDFS, and emails. It’s a tiny but powerful tool for brand recognition.
3. Know your target audience
Who are you talking to? Knowing your niche helps you speak directly to the people who need what you offer. The clearer you are about them, the clearer your message becomes.
4. Pick a consistent backdrop or office setup
Whether it’s your home office, a city view, or a neutral wall, showing up in the same space creates a sense of reliability and trust. Bonus: it makes your content instantly recognisable.
5. Have one key face of the brand
People connect with people — not logos or products. If you’re the face of your brand, show up often. Be the person your audience can relate to, learn from, and trust.
Small changes in consistency can lead to big results in recognition. Stick with it, show up, and keep it you.
